At a glance

Before you go.

An Emirates journey is usually built by contrast rather than distance. The Gulf coast carries the beach resorts — the Palm and Jumeirah in Dubai, Saadiyat and Yas in Abu Dhabi — while the desert sits an hour inland and the Gulf of Oman lies on the far side of the Hajar mountains at Fujairah. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are roughly ninety minutes apart by road, so a two-city route is straightforward; adding desert or the east coast is what needs planning.

Two coasts, two deserts

November to March gives the comfortable window for beaches, dunes and long outdoor days. Summer is genuinely hot, and a summer itinerary has to be built around early mornings, indoor hours and shorter desert exposure rather than simply moved.

This is an editorial planning preview, not a live booking shelf. Our team confirms the current portfolio, routing, rates and availability before proposing a journey.

When is the best time to visit the UAE?

November to March is the comfortable season for beach and desert days. April, May and October are workable with an earlier start to the day, and the deep summer months need an itinerary designed around the heat rather than one simply rescheduled.

Can Dubai and Abu Dhabi be combined in one trip?

Easily — they are about ninety minutes apart by road and share the same coast. The question is usually how many nights each deserves, and whether a desert or east-coast chapter is worth the extra transfer for your dates.

What is the difference between the Gulf coast and Fujairah?

They are different seas. The Gulf coast at Dubai and Abu Dhabi is shallow, warm and calm; Fujairah sits on the Gulf of Oman beyond the Hajar mountains, with deeper water, better diving and a much quieter shoreline. Reaching it is a road transfer of roughly two to three hours from either city.

Do I need a visa for the UAE?

Eligibility depends on nationality and can change. Check the official UAE entry requirements before booking; our team will also flag the entry position while reviewing your trip.
