The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert sits within Wadi Khadeja, a 1,235-acre gated private nature reserve in the northern Emirates. The resort is made up of 109 free-standing villas, each with its own terrace and pool, spread widely across the desert landscape so that oryx, gazelle and other reintroduced wildlife move between them. Activity is built around the reserve: an equestrian centre with resident horses, an adventure centre, a falconry school and guided nature drives, alongside an extensive spa and wellness offering that includes The Rainforest, a hydrothermal circuit. Dining runs from a Japanese izakaya to a regional all-day restaurant, a café at the equestrian centre and private barbecue set-ups among the dunes.
