A small all-suite resort inside the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, about forty-five minutes inland from the city on the Al Ain road. Suites are built as canvas-roofed pavilions, each with its own pool facing the dunes, in Bedouin, Royal, Emirates and Presidential categories, and rates are structured around the reserve's guided activity programme rather than around the room alone. Oryx and gazelle move freely through the site; there is a spa, the Al Diwaan restaurant and dune dining, and the resort takes no day visitors.
