What does a Maldives DMC do for a luxury travel agency?+

A destination management company in the Maldives is the in-country operator that holds direct contracts with resorts, books seaplane and speedboat transfers, handles on-arrival meet-and-greet at Velana International Airport, manages group logistics, coordinates private charters, and resolves any in-destination issues in real time. Rather than a travel agency booking every resort individually through a retail platform, routing through a DMC gives the agency net rates on preferred inventory, one point of contact for the whole booking (hotel + transfer + extras), and a ground team on the islands who can intervene if a flight delay or weather disruption reshuffles an itinerary.

Do you work with travel agencies worldwide or only in specific regions?+

We work with registered travel agencies, tour operators and wholesalers across Europe, North America, CIS, South Asia and the Middle East. Offices in Malé, Kyiv and Mumbai give us timezone coverage for most source markets; support escalations are handled by the Malé operations team which is staffed 24 hours a day during active bookings. Agencies in markets we do not cover directly can still be onboarded — we just handle the first year of account relationship from Malé while we assess volume.

How do I get access to net rates and the agent portal?+

Submit the agent application form with your IATA or registered-travel-agency credentials, operating country, and approximate annual volume. The commercial team reviews applications within two business days; approved agencies are issued portal credentials, a dedicated account manager and our full contracted-rate sheet. We vet agencies before issuing credentials so approved partners know the inventory is not accessible to consumers directly, which protects the retail price floor on each property.

Which Maldives resorts can you contract for luxury travel agencies?+

We hold direct supply agreements with 150+ Maldivian properties from the ultra-luxury tier — Soneva, Cheval Blanc, Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, Anantara Kihavah, Six Senses, JOALI, Niyama — through to curated 5-star all-inclusive resorts and select boutique private-island properties. We do not handle open-market consumer OTA inventory. If a particular resort is not on our contract list, we can usually source it via wholesale partners or through the resort's parent-chain global account.

Can you handle group travel, MICE and private charters in the Maldives?+

Yes. Group travel (10+ rooms), incentive programmes, wedding and family buyouts, and full-island charters are a core part of what we handle. Resort buyouts typically require 30–90 days of lead time and are priced separately from FIT net rates. Private seaplane and speedboat charters are arranged through Trans Maldivian Airways, Manta Air and our own contracted speedboat operators. The group desk is a separate team from FIT operations so agencies running concurrent leisure and group pipelines get specialised handling on each.
