The resort
The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort sits on a protected stretch of beach on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, next to the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and a short drive from the Saadiyat Cultural District and downtown Abu Dhabi. The beach in front of the resort is a nesting site for hawksbill turtles and the dunes behind it are left intact, so wildlife is a working part of the setting rather than a backdrop. Rooms and suites are Mediterranean in style, all with balconies, and the suite ladder runs up through Astor, Ocean and Spa categories to a penthouse Royal Suite with a plunge pool. The resort keeps the brand's butler service and its Bloody Mary ritual, served here as the Arabian Snapper, and runs seven food and beverage outlets alongside a spa and golf access.
