About This Atoll
Just south of the capital, South Male Atoll is known for excellent surf breaks, pristine dive sites, and a quieter atmosphere than its northern neighbour. The atoll features some of the best surfing in the Maldives between March and October, along with stunning overwater villa resorts and pristine coral reefs. Most resorts are accessible by speedboat from the airport.
