Embudu Village is a 3-star classic Maldives resort in South Male Atoll, reached by a 20-minute speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport, one of the fastest transfers available in the archipelago. The 6-hectare island holds 122 rooms split between garden and beach bungalows and traditional overwater water bungalows, with meal plans from Bed & Breakfast through All Inclusive and two restaurants serving buffet and a la carte menus. Its house reef, recognised as one of the finest in the country, is accessible directly from the beach, with regular sightings of reef sharks, turtles, napoleon wrasse, and strong coral cover. The on-site Diverland dive centre runs PADI courses and daily trips to nearby channels.
