The resort
Adaaran Prestige Vadoo occupies the small island of Vadoo at the northern edge of South Malé Atoll, reached by a 15-minute complimentary speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport. The resort is made up entirely of overwater accommodation, with 50 water villas set above the lagoon and no beach units. Since November 2023 it has operated as an adults-only property, accepting guests aged 18 and above. A 24-hour Premium All-Inclusive plan covers meals at Farivalhu (Asian fusion all-day dining), Kithajima (Japanese) and Kakuni Barefoot Beach Restaurant (seafood), along with beverages, the in-villa minibar, daily high tea and selected excursions. Every villa is assigned a personal butler and includes a glass-bottom viewing panel for observing marine life below the deck. The property sits on the edge of a coral wall that functions as the house reef, making it one of the few resorts in South Malé where guests can snorkel or scuba dive directly off their villa onto a drop-off frequented by reef sharks, rays and turtles. The combination of all-overwater accommodation, inclusive butler service and one of the shortest transfers in the country suits couples and honeymooners who want an adult-only, logistically simple stay without a long seaplane journey after arrival.
