Fast drift through the marine-protected Embudhoo Kandu at the northeast corner of South Male Atoll, a roughly 2 km run along a wall lined with caves, overhangs, soft corals and gorgonians. Current can be very strong (well over 2 knots), so a reef hook and advanced drift skills are needed; depths to about 30 m. Incoming current brings grey and whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, barracuda, trevally, Napoleon wrasse and tuna.
