Cocoa Thila (Cocoa Corner / Kandooma Thila) is an elongated pinnacle roughly 400 m long in the Cocoa channel of South Malé Atoll, sloping to a drop-off near 30 m. The dive typically drifts from Cocoa Corner along the thila, passing schools of fusiliers, snappers and big-eye trevally, with eagle rays, tuna, turtles, Napoleon wrasse and grey and whitetip reef sharks. Currents are often strong (1-4 knots), making it an advanced drift dive. Water temperatures sit around 28-29 C.
