North East Corner sits on the north-eastern tip of Fuvahmulah, the isolated one-island atoll (Gnaviyani) in the deep south. The top reef begins around 6 m and slopes past 30 m, carpeted in healthy hard coral with abundant reef fish. In the right currents it can produce pelagic encounters including thresher sharks, oceanic mantas and whale sharks. Strong, variable open-ocean currents make it an advanced site.
