Threshers Jan–Apr; pelagics year-round
A protected south-point plateau off Fuvahmulah where the reef edge (around 10-15 m) drops into open ocean, with a deeper plateau reported around 35-60 m. It is a blue-water pelagic drift known for tiger sharks, thresher sharks, and scalloped hammerheads, with oceanic mantas and reef sharks also seen. Strong tide and open-ocean conditions make it an advanced dive. Best November to May, with clearest conditions January to April.
