Meradhoo Kandu is a channel on the western side of Huvadhoo Atoll in front of Meradhoo island, where dives typically begin on the southern outer reef and drift into the atoll. The ocean side carries healthy hard coral and abundant macro life, while the channel mouth brings tuna, barracuda, eagle rays, schooling blue-fin trevally and white-tip reef sharks in the blue. Currents can be strong, making it an advanced drift dive.
