Kuda Hafsa Thila is a classic thila in Gaafu Dhaalu (South Huvadhoo) Atoll in the far south of the Maldives, surrounded by a sandy bottom. The pinnacle attracts grey reef sharks, batfish, dogtooth tuna and other tuna in the open-water currents. Variable currents over the exposed thila make it an intermediate-to-advanced dive. The northeast monsoon (December-April) generally offers the best conditions in the deep south.
