Devana Kandu is a protected channel dive in Vaavu (Felidhu) Atoll just south of Alimatha, where a central reef splits the pass into two routes and tides drive a fast drift down to about 40 m. The terrain is shaped by caves, overhangs and soft corals. Grey and whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, barracuda, tuna and Napoleon wrasse are common; it is a boat-access, current-planned advanced dive.
