Miyaru Kandu ('Shark Channel') is a channel dive on the north-eastern side of Vaavu (Felidhoo) Atoll, with a maximum depth around 29 m and many small caves and overhangs along both channel walls. It is known for large schools of grey reef sharks plus whitetip reef sharks, tuna, Napoleon wrasse and reef fish, with mantas appearing on outgoing current in the low season. Visibility is typically about 20 m. Strong, variable currents make it an advanced channel dive.
