Alimatha Kandu / Jetty is a reef-and-channel dive off Alimatha island on the eastern side of Vaavu (Felidhu) Atoll, famous as a night dive at the jetty. Divers typically settle on sand at around 10-15 m beside the jetty and reef edge. The site is best known for large aggregations of nurse sharks, plus stingrays, jacks and the occasional marbled ray drawn by feeding activity.

A note on responsible diving: This is a controversial baited/feeding night dive. Choose an operator with responsible practices — no touching, good buoyancy, and respect for the animals.
