The British Loyalty is a 134 m WWII oil tanker, torpedoed in Addu Atoll, that now rests on its port side in roughly 16-33 m of water inside the atoll lagoon between Hithadhoo and Maradhoo. The hull is heavily encrusted with hard and soft coral and supports schooling glassfish, sweetlips, batfish and moray eels. Conditions are typically calm and sheltered with little current, making it suitable for less experienced divers as well as wreck specialists.
