Channel dive off Villingili island at the northwest of Addu (Seenu) Atoll, the Maldives' southernmost atoll. The kandu drops along a reef edge into deeper water and draws grey reef sharks and pelagics on incoming current. A current-exposed, advanced drift typically dived in the northeast monsoon (roughly December to April). Coordinate is an island proxy only; dive-site databases conflate this with a same-named Villingili in Gaafu Alifu (north of the equator), so the precise channel position is unverified.
