Alila Kothaifaru Maldives will host its Tides of Wonder festive programme from 21 December 2026 through 7 January 2027. Located in the Raa Atoll, the eco-conscious resort will mark the holiday season with a series of events spanning Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Orthodox Christmas. The schedule includes a tree lighting ceremony, marine biology presentations, and wellness activities, alongside a variety of culinary experiences such as a Four-Hands dinner at Pibati Sul Mare and a New Year’s Eve gala featuring live entertainment.
The resort is emphasizing extended stays for the holiday period, offering guests incentives for bookings of seven or more nights. These packages include dining and spa privileges, as well as potential savings on seaplane transfers. By focusing on the natural rhythm of the island, the programming aims to balance celebratory events with opportunities for relaxation, encouraging visitors to engage with the surrounding marine environment and local traditions throughout their stay.
