What is Ulifushi Integrated Village?

Ulifushi Integrated Village is a heritage project on Uligamu, Haa Alif Atoll, in the far north of the Maldives — 14 hectares of restored land conceived as a living village rather than a resort. It offers three dwelling types (Athirige Bungalows, Ganduvaru Residences and Sutra Kanzu Suites), heritage dining at Boduge and well-being at Hadhaam rooted in traditional Dhivehi beys healing. Opening dates have not been announced.

Is Aman opening a resort in the Maldives?

Yes. Aman has confirmed its first Maldives property in Vaavu Atoll: a 52-key resort plus 16 Aman Residences, designed by Kerry Hill Architects, with a 2,638 m² spa on its own island. Aman publishes no opening date, so the trade's 2027 target remains soft.
