Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru will launch its festive programme, The Secret Underwater Garden, running from 22 December 2026 through 7 January 2027. Centred on the North Malé Atoll, this luxury resort leverages its long-standing marine conservation efforts to offer guests a blend of holiday celebrations and environmental engagement. The schedule highlights local Maldivian culture through traditional Bodu Beru performances, island-style cooking classes, and artisan workshops, alongside formal gala dinners hosted on Naiboli Beach.

The initiative emphasises the resort’s commitment to ocean preservation, featuring coral planting sessions and educational workshops led by the on-site Marine Lab team. Guests can participate in citizen science snorkelling or join the junior ocean guardian programme to learn about reef restoration. Beyond conservation, the festive itinerary includes a variety of water sports, sunset cruises, and wellness sessions, providing a comprehensive experience that connects the island’s signature villa-based luxury with the surrounding Indian Ocean ecosystem.
