Mantas May–Nov; glassfish densest in wet season

Nelivaru Haa is a thila on the south-eastern side of Baa Atoll, with the reef top near 14 m sloping to about 30 m. Its topography features star-shaped canyons, caves and overhangs draped in hard and soft coral, sheltering groupers, batfish, sweetlips and dense schools of glassy baitfish. The whole reef acts as a manta cleaning station during the southwest monsoon (roughly May-November). Moderate currents suit intermediate to advanced divers.
