Dharavandhoo Thila is a coral pinnacle in southern Baa Atoll near Dharavandhoo island, with its top rising to around 5-8 m and slopes descending past 30 m. The thila is covered in hard corals and reef fish, and during the southwest-monsoon plankton season (roughly May to November) it sits near the Hanifaru manta and whale-shark aggregation zone, so reef manta rays and occasional whale sharks pass through. Mild to moderate currents are common.
