Dhonfanu Thila is a pinnacle in Baa Atoll surrounded by overhangs, drop-offs and a narrow swim-through that opens into a calmer pool. Depths range from roughly 5 m at the top to around 30 m. Common sightings include Napoleon wrasse, grey reef sharks, eagle rays, fusiliers and tuna, with reef manta rays appearing during the southwest monsoon. Shifting currents make it a moderate-to-advanced dive.
