Fushifaru Thila is a protected manta-cleaning station on the northeastern edge of Lhaviyani (Faadhippolhu) Atoll, lying in the middle of a roughly 500 m channel (Fushifaru Kandu) between the Fushifaru and Madhiriguraidhoo reefs. The elongated thila is about 150 m long and rises to around 10 m at its shallowest, with sides shelving to roughly 16-35 m. It hosts manta cleaning stations plus schooling snapper, fusiliers, giant trevally, sweetlips and barracuda; current can be strong.
