Maamigili Beyru is the outer reef off Maamigili island at the southern end of South Ari Atoll, the core of the South Ari Marine Protected Area and one of the most reliable year-round whale shark aggregation sites in the Maldives. It is primarily a shallow outer-reef snorkel and dive along the reef edge where whale sharks cruise, with reef fish, turtles and rays.
