Sun Siyam Iru Veli has expanded the wellness menu at its Ocean Spa, introducing a series of treatments that merge traditional Maldivian customs with Ayurvedic healing practices. Located in the Dhaalu Atoll, the resort now offers the Haveeru Harmony ritual, a 150-minute sunset experience for couples that includes hydrotherapy and massage. Other new additions include the 90-minute Nirvana treatment, which utilizes warm herbal oils to improve circulation and mental clarity, and the 50-minute Hiyala Head & Scalp Massage.
The latter draws directly from local heritage by incorporating coconut oil, which is also featured in the resort’s broader cultural programming. By combining these regional techniques with established holistic therapies, the spa aims to provide guests with a restorative experience that reflects the unique environment of the Maldives. Each treatment is specifically designed to promote physical equilibrium and relaxation, further grounding the resort's wellness philosophy in both global standards and local traditions.
