Dhawa Ihuru is a 5-star private-island resort in the North Malé Atoll, a 25-minute speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport and part of the Anantara group under the Minor Hotels umbrella. The 3-hectare island holds 45 beachfront bungalows, each with direct sand access and most steps from the shoreline. The property is distinguished by an extensive house reef that encircles the entire island, enabling snorkelling and diving directly from the beach without a boat. Dining covers two restaurants and one bar, with All Inclusive and Premium All Inclusive meal plans available, featuring international buffets and fresh local seafood. The on-island Dive Centre is PADI-certified and runs trips to well-regarded North Male sites, while non-motorised watersports, a spa, and yoga are included for most guests.
