Fushi Kandu is the best-known dive site in Laamu Atoll, a channel between the uninhabited island of Fushi and inhabited Maabaidhoo on the atoll's northeast side, and a designated Marine Protected Area. Depths run along the channel walls and reef from shallow to around 30 m. Reef sharks, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse, tuna and large schools of reef fish are common, with the chance of mantas; currents make it a moderate-to-advanced drift dive.
