Centara Hotels & Resorts is marking the Festival of Lights across four of its Maldivian properties with a series of cultural and culinary events scheduled between November 7 and November 9. Each island resort, including the Thai-inspired Centara Grand Lagoon in the North Malé Atoll, has developed a unique itinerary that blends traditional Indian customs with the natural surroundings of the Indian Ocean.
At Centara Grand Lagoon and Centara Mirage Lagoon, guests can participate in three-day programmes featuring Bollywood-themed entertainment, cinema screenings, and artistic workshops such as rangoli creation. Meanwhile, Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa and the adults-only Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa will host single-day celebrations on November 8. These festivities focus on regional gastronomy, including curated Indian buffets and beachfront biryani dinners, complemented by activities ranging from henna artistry and sunset yoga to evening music performances under the stars.
