Sun Siyam Resorts recently mobilized 490 staff members and guests across its five Maldivian properties and its Malé headquarters to participate in the 2026 Pink Ribbon Run/Walk. This collective effort, held in partnership with the Cancer Society of Maldives, focused on promoting early detection and cancer prevention. The group, which includes the expansive Siyam World in Noonu Atoll, successfully raised MVR 122,060 for the cause through the sale of commemorative campaign apparel.
The initiative served as a platform for open dialogue regarding personal health and community wellbeing. By integrating this event into the broader Sun Siyam Cares social responsibility framework, the hospitality group emphasized its commitment to local healthcare advocacy. The event spanned the company’s entire portfolio, including Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Iru Veli, Vilu Reef, and Olhuveli, demonstrating a unified approach to supporting national health awareness programs and fostering solidarity among employees and international visitors alike.
