Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, the flagship of Sun Siyam's Luxury Collection in the Noonu Atoll, will host French Michelin-starred chef Maye Cissoko this July for two Bastille Day dining experiences under the theme 'Art of the Chef', on 22 and 27 July.
Cissoko is chef-owner of the 105-year-old Maison Burnel in the Vosges, which earned a Michelin star within six months of his renovation, and trained at the Institut Paul Bocuse. Working with the resort's executive chef, Putu Wijana, he will present two wine-paired evenings featuring fresh scallops: a Cellar Dinner at the newly renovated French restaurant Flavours, and a beachside Sublime Festin at Islander's Grill.
Resident sommelier Sunil Kumar will pair each course with wines from across France. The resort says selected signature dishes will remain on its menus after the residency, which spans its 15 restaurants and bars.
