Kevin Armstrong, the proprietor of the renowned East London establishment Satan’s Whiskers, will host a series of exclusive events at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort this December. As part of the property’s ongoing Tastemaker Series, the veteran mixologist will bring his disciplined approach to cocktail preparation to the Dhaalu Atoll, a private island destination celebrated for its sophisticated overwater villas and refined hospitality.
The programming begins on 7 December with a complimentary masterclass focused on the technical nuances of gin and martini preparation. Following this, Armstrong will lead a two-day bar takeover at the resort’s signature Whale Bar on 8 and 9 December. During these evenings, guests can sample a bespoke menu reflecting the consistency and precision that have earned his London venue global recognition. These sessions offer a rare opportunity to observe expert techniques firsthand within the resort’s distinctive, whale-shark-inspired lounge overlooking the Indian Ocean.
