Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa has earned the 2026 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for each of its three dining establishments: Bodumas, Latitude 5.5, and the Oak Lounge Wine Cellar. Located in the secluded Noonu Atoll, the luxury property features 105 villas, all equipped with private plunge pools, and is accessible via a 45-minute seaplane journey from the capital.
The accolade recognizes the resort’s comprehensive wine program, which includes over 300 labels curated by Head Sommelier Sasho Petereski. To qualify for this distinction, each venue maintains a list of at least 75 selections, balancing variety, price, and regional representation. The resort ensures the integrity of its collection through rigorous temperature-controlled storage. By tailoring specific wine pairings to the Mediterranean, Japanese, and grill-focused menus at each restaurant, the property demonstrates a consistent commitment to high-standard culinary experiences that cater to both casual diners and serious collectors.
