.Here Baa Atoll has been nominated for the World’s Leading New Resort 2026 at the upcoming World Travel Awards. This latest accolade follows the property’s recent success as the Indian Ocean’s Leading New Resort 2026, positioning the Maldivian retreat alongside a select group of international hospitality newcomers. The winner will be announced during the Grand Final Gala Ceremony scheduled for 12 December 2026 in Tanzania.
Located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the resort spans two secluded islands, Somewhere and Nowhere, featuring a total of nine expansive residences. The property has garnered significant industry attention since its debut, including placements on the Condé Nast Traveler Hot List and DestinAsian’s Luxe List. This nomination highlights the resort's commitment to privacy and bespoke service, further solidifying its reputation for architectural innovation and intimate, high-end island living. Public voting for the award category remains open through 30 October 2026.
