Grand Park Kodhipparu has introduced the Kodhipparu Club, establishing the Maldives’ inaugural private island membership program. This initiative transitions the resort away from a purely traditional hospitality model, offering local residents, expatriates, and frequent travelers consistent access to island facilities without requiring overnight stays. Situated in the North Malé Atoll, the property is accessible via a short 20-minute speedboat transit from the capital.
The membership, which operates on a seasonal basis from May through September, aims to integrate the resort into the daily lives of its members rather than serving solely as a vacation destination. Participants receive benefits including use of the lagoon and fitness facilities, dining privileges, and invitations to a curated calendar of wellness and social events. By fostering this community-focused environment, the resort seeks to align with global trends that prioritize ongoing lifestyle engagement and meaningful connections over transactional tourism.
