Siyam World has introduced a new underwater attraction in the Noonu Atoll, featuring a 66-metre former tuna freighter purposefully submerged to serve as both a dive site and a catalyst for marine restoration. Located at depths ranging from 10 to 24 metres, the vessel is already attracting diverse marine species, including various shark breeds, rays, and turtles. This project marks the launch of the Wreck to Reef initiative, an annual conservation program operating under the Sun Siyam Cares platform.

The resort, a sprawling 5-star destination known for its expansive facilities and diverse recreational offerings, intends for the wreck to evolve into a permanent living reef. Beyond providing a unique experience for certified divers, the initiative invites guests to participate in long-term ecosystem health by planting coral fragments directly onto the structure. This ongoing project aims to foster sustainable marine growth while establishing a monitored habitat that will continue to develop over the coming years.
