InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort has introduced a weekly dining concept titled Around the World in 8 Courses, designed to offer guests a progressive culinary tour across the property. Situated in the Raa Atoll, the resort utilizes its various venues to host this multi-sensory experience, which moves participants through several distinct locations to sample globally inspired dishes.
The journey begins at Café Umi with Japanese-influenced appetizers, followed by seafood-focused courses at the Fish Market. Guests then transition to The Lighthouse for main entrees, such as Wagyu striploin or charred octopus, before concluding on the beach with a selection of desserts. The evening finishes at the Sunset Bar, where participants receive a complimentary drink. This curated dining program is priced at $350 per person, excluding beverages, and reflects the resort's commitment to providing immersive, experience-led travel for its guests.
