About Zuri Zanzibar

Fifty-six bungalows, suites and villas scattered through a twelve-hectare tropical park on Kendwa beach, on the north-west shore of Unguja about 50 km from Stone Town. Zuri means beautiful in Swahili, and the owner built deliberately low density: separate free-standing houses with African-style cathedral roofs, outdoor showers and large terraces, all a short walk from a lagoon beach that stays swimmable at any tide. A quarter of the land is given over to a private spice garden.
