About Hamakaze

Hamakaze, which means "beach wind", is a Japanese restaurant reached along an overwater pier, with a teppanyaki counter under a thatch roof. It runs two seatings between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm, is closed on Wednesday, and has a smart casual dress code.

The menu covers tempura, makimono sushi, nigiri and sashimi, an omakase of nigiri, sashimi and moriawase, and signature sushi with truffle, foie gras, scallops and ponzu. Tasmanian salmon, yellowfin sashimi and Maldivian lobster are among the dishes. Food, set and beverage menus are published.
