JA Manafaru occupies the private island of Manafaru in Haa Alifu Atoll, at the northern end of the Maldives archipelago. It is reached either by a roughly 75-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport or by a 45-minute domestic flight to Hanimaadhoo Airport followed by a 35-minute speedboat transfer. The resort offers 84 villas, including Beach Villas and Over Water Residences with either sunrise or sunset orientation, as well as three private residences, and every villa includes a pool. The food and beverage line-up runs to seven outlets, including Ocean Grill for seafood, Kakuni for international buffets, Andiamo Bistro for Italian cuisine, White Orchid for Japanese dishes and The Cellar, a subterranean wine cave used for private dining. The property runs an all-inclusive Dine Around package, along with a spa, dive centre and watersports facilities. Recreational activities cover scuba diving, snorkelling, motorised and non-motorised watersports, and guided excursions into the surrounding atoll.
