U-shaped thila sitting in the centre of the marine-protected Filitheyo Kandu, just off Filitheyo island on the eastern rim of Faafu (North Nilandhe) Atoll. Depths run roughly 10 to 30 m with caves and overhangs on the outer walls and a sand patch holding stingrays. Strong channel current attracts whitetip and grey reef sharks, eagle rays, tuna, Napoleon wrasse and large fish schools; an advanced drift dive. Coordinate is the Filitheyo island proxy, not the thila itself.
