Why go to Bentota?
Choose Bentota if you want a relaxed beach stay that still gives you an inland waterway to explore. It works well before continuing south toward Galle.
The beach and Bentota River create two very different ways to spend time here. Some visitors will be content to remain on the coast, while others can use this as the first resort base on a journey south. Unlike Galle, the main choice here is the stay and shoreline, not a heritage-city visit.
