Sun Siyam Olhuveli will host its Carnival of the Isles festive programme from 21 December 2026 through 8 January 2027. The event spans the resort’s three interconnected islands, offering a blend of musical performances, cultural displays, and outdoor entertainment. This year’s lineup features BBC Radio 1 broadcaster Jeremiah Asiamah, British artist DJ Ironik, Canadian belly dancer Nourah, and the Los Angeles-based performance troupe Wildfire Arts.
The resort, part of the Sun Siyam Lifestyle Collection, utilizes its expansive geography to host a variety of activities ranging from wellness sessions and family-focused adventures to high-energy beach parties. A focal point of the celebration is the weekly Grand Carnival of the Isles, which converts the beachfront into an open-air venue featuring street-style markets, live music, and theatrical acts. The event aims to provide a social, Maldivian-inspired alternative to traditional holiday travel, with programming designed to integrate the resort's diverse tropical environments into a cohesive festive experience.
