The Standard, Maldives has unveiled its festive programming for the upcoming year-end season, beginning with a beachfront tree lighting ceremony on 20 December 2026. Located on Huruvalhi Island in the Raa Atoll, the resort will host a series of events ranging from poolside activities and curated dining experiences to live musical performances. Throughout the holiday period, the Lil’ Shark Kids Club will provide age-appropriate activities, while the resort’s social areas will feature beachside gatherings and entertainment designed to blend traditional celebrations with a tropical atmosphere.
The festivities culminate on New Year’s Eve with a themed event titled Reveal Your Glow. The evening will feature a gala dinner followed by an outdoor party headlined by DJ Kessaé Kimmi. The celebration will include fire performances and a midnight fireworks display over the Indian Ocean, marking the transition into the new year with an emphasis on high-energy music and visual production.
