Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu will host a festive programme titled Roots & Tides from 22 December 2026 to 7 January 2027, focusing on traditional Maldivian culture and the island’s connection to the ocean. Located within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the resort will offer a series of heritage-focused events, including the Bodu Mas performance, traditional Lava Baazi singing, and beachside culinary experiences.
The schedule provides diverse activities for all guests, ranging from restorative spa rituals and private picnics on the uninhabited island of Embudhoo to educational marine conservation sessions. Younger visitors can participate in creative workshops and treasure hunts at the Coco Little Islanders’ Corner. The celebration culminates in gala dinners for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, followed by an Island Festive Feast and a bonfire event in early January. These offerings reflect the resort’s ongoing commitment to sustainable, nature-focused hospitality.
