Maldivian and SriLankan Airlines have formalized a strategic partnership designed to broaden international access to the Maldives and streamline travel across their combined networks. By leveraging SriLankan Airlines’ extensive global reach, the agreement facilitates smoother connections for visitors traveling through Colombo to the Maldives, while simultaneously opening up Maldivian’s domestic routes to a wider international audience.
This collaboration is set to improve transit to 17 domestic destinations, providing travelers with more efficient passage to the outer atolls. As the Maldives continues to evolve as a premier luxury destination, this integration of regional and global flight paths supports both tourism development and local mobility.
