Kandima Maldives has concluded its Summer Kamp 2026 programming by hosting high-profile football talent and launching a UNDP-supported environmental art exhibition. The Dhaalu Atoll resort, known for its expansive three-kilometre island footprint and focus on active lifestyle experiences, welcomed freestyle champion Lia Lewis and professional midfielder Paulo Bernardo to lead guest clinics and interactive sessions. These sporting events took place at the resort’s dedicated PlaySpace, building on a season that featured appearances from several international football stars.
The resort is now transitioning into its final summer chapter with an island-wide Art for Biodiversity exhibition. Supported by a grant from the United Nations Development Programme, the project features a residency by Austrian artist Petra Maitz, who is facilitating workshops and collaborative coral-themed art installations through early October. This initiative aims to blend creative expression with ocean conservation efforts, marking the conclusion of a season defined by both athletic engagement and environmental storytelling.
