Atmosphere Core has released its 2025 Core Impact Report, detailing the hospitality group’s progress in environmental stewardship and operational sustainability across its nine Maldivian properties. Published on Earth Day 2026, the document provides data-driven insights into the company’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and manage resources more efficiently. These resorts, known for their diverse offerings across the Maldivian archipelago, are increasingly prioritizing transparency to meet the rising demand for responsible travel practices.
Key achievements include the generation of 7.9 million kilowatt-hours of solar energy and the conversion of 140 tonnes of organic waste into biogas, resulting in significant diesel savings and reduced carbon emissions. The company has also removed millions of single-use plastic items from its supply chain and successfully planted over 16,600 coral fragments to support marine biodiversity.
